How Easy Is It To Start Hot Dog Vending

Really, How Easy is It To Start?

When I first thought of the idea of starting a hot dog stand, I really just wanted to make some money until I got another job. I thought that if I had a hotdog stand, I could go on interviews anytime as my hours would be my own and with just a small start up cost – it really seemed like a no brainer.

I’ve never done anything like this before, so I thought I should do some research and everywhere I looked, I saw this guy, Perry’s guide to starting your own hot dog stand. There were loads of people talking about it, so I decided the investment might be worth the money. There was also a 60 day money back guarantee, so if it didn’t live up to the promises, I could get my money back.

I bought it, I read it and then I did it. Just two and a half weeks later, I was selling hot dogs, hamburgers, sodas and sweets. The best part of the book was that it included stuff I wouldn’t even have thought about. It did include all the legal stuff and the permits needed, but it was other stuff like the psychology of selling that I new nothing about.

Since starting this business six months ago, I’ve been on eight interviews, but I don’t really want just any job anymore. I’m making enough money to cover my living expenses and although it’s cold right now and working in the cold is hard, it’s so much better than not working at all.

I don’t know how long it will take for me to get a really good job, but I work for myself right now which is great. I have found a location that works so well, it was one of the locations that Perry suggested in his book – again that I wouldn’t have thought of and I can do this for as long as it takes.
